The Account Executive is responsible for handling daily financial tasks, including bookkeeping, invoice processing, account reconciliation, and financial reporting. This role ensures that company and client financial records are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers
Manage accounts payable and receivable records
Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and external auditors
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant financial regulations
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Use accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, UBS, etc.) for data entry and reporting
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar accounting role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Able to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
